About me
Naya Sample, Alumni of forsyth tech, is a multidisciplinary artist who dabbles in both 2D and 3D art forms. Primarily painting specializing in oil paint and watercolor. The art is dark and calm, having influence from classical art. Art movements that show up in the artist journey are that of impressionism, French academic, and realist art. While they seem very different they all have their place in the development of the art. The style allows you to take a moment to get close and see the deep brush strokes and movement in the piece. Often making things such as hand sewn totes, decorative keychains, and stickers on the side.
Previously shown at Forsyth Tech alumni shows within the school as well as the Stokes Center and Footnote. Seen selling at Art Crush Winston Salem, Tate st market in Greensboro as well as the Tate Street Festivals.
